Yoga Nidra means ‘yogic’ sleep with a trace of awareness. It is a state of mind in between wakefulness and dream. When you practice yoga nidra you are opening the deeper states of ‘consciousness’. At this moment, your intellectual mind is operating, but when you are able to relax, the subconscious and the unconscious levels of the mind open.

Yoga Nidra or psychic sleep; is a yogic practice in which one can access deeper states of awareness. It allows us to reach a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, it's like the "going-to-sleep" stage, where your body sleeps and your mind is active, it is typically induced by a guided meditation, so really helpful for those who feel like they can't meditate. It can be the easiest and most relaxing way to get into the rhythm of meditation.

Yoga Nidra is used to calm the nervous system, which reduces stress and leads to better overall health. It enables us to go deeper into our consciousness and bypass the senses, this is called 'Pratyahara' which means “withdrawing of the senses”.

It's a beautiful tool to use when you're overworked or extremely stressed, it allows you to switch off for half an hour and your body goes into deep rest which acts as if the body has been asleep for your regular 8 hours. I swear by Yoga Nidra, it keeps me sane and I'm so happy that I can offer this to you as the gift that keeps on giving.

Yoga Nidra allows us to access deeper parts of consciousness and explore areas where we may be holding tension, stored emotion, conflict and pain.

Watch as things start to unexpectedly shift, this is when you realise the pure magic that unveils within the marvellous world of Yoga Nidra.

With all my love,
